Wade grew up in the Aberdeen, SD area. After graduation, Wade completed his undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences in 1986 from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. He then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1988 from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK. While in Physical Therapy school, Wade worked at Baptist Medical Center as an aide. After graduation he went to work for St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Aberdeen, SD as a staff therapist treating a variety of inpatients and outpatients. In December of 1988, Wade transferred to their back/neck clinic where his responsibilities included outpatient care, functional capacity testing and work conditioning. In July of 1990, Wade and Paul Treinen started Big Stone Therapies, Inc. Besides treating patients whenever he can, he is also in charge of new clinics/programs, marketing, professional development and working with the management team. Wade and his wife Cindy raise their family near Big Stone City, SD. They are all very active in the outdoors with hunting and fishing and they are also very active in the community and in their catholic diocese and parish.
