Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation at Big Stone Therapies is recommended for people who suffer from an inner ear disorder. Symptoms of this disorder include dizziness, vertigo, nausea, difficulty walking, and a sense of imbalance.

Specially trained therapists evaluate and treat patients with vestibular disorders and design a custom plan of care. Treatments include specific eye, body, and head exercises that progress as the patient improves. In the majority of cases, patients will experience significant improvement after the initial visit.

Vestibular rehabilitation can be successful for people with:

  • BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal positional Vertigo)
  • Bilateral or unilateral reduced inner ear function
  • Labyrinthitis
  • Vestibular neuritis
